CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT

This Notice at Collection is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”). It explains what categories of personal information Shohaus (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects about California consumers (“you”), the purposes for which we use it, our retention practices, and your rights under the law.
The information below describes our practices during the 12-month period preceding the date of this Notice and will be updated annually or when our data practices materially change.
By engaging with Shohaus, placing an order, or otherwise interacting with our website, sales team, or services, you acknowledge this Notice at Collection.

For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
Categories of Personal Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information, as defined by the CCPA:
  • Identifiers (e.g., name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, IP address, account login).
  • Commercial information (e.g., products purchased, order history, payment details, account preferences).
  • Internet or network activity information (e.g., browsing history, search history, interactions with our website or ads).
  • Geolocation data (general location information derived from IP address or shipping address).
  • Audio, visual, or similar information (communications with our support team, design consultations, uploaded images for customization).
  • Professional or employment-related information (if you are a trade customer, designer, or reseller interacting with our business accounts).
  • Inferences (preferences, interests, and tendencies based on your interactions with Shohaus).
We collect personal information directly from you (for example, when you place an order or contact us), automatically through our website and analytics tools, and from service providers that support our operations (such as payment processors and shipping carriers).
Sources of Collection
We collect personal information from the following sources, depending on how you interact with Shohaus:
  • Directly from You – When you request a quote, place an order, create an account, submit measurements or finish selections, contact us, or communicate with our team. This includes information you provide through forms, emails, or phone calls.
  • Automatically from Your Interactions – When you browse our website, open marketing emails, or interact with ads. We collect device data, cookies, analytics information, and session logs through platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta, and Shopify/Webflow integrations. This helps us understand usage patterns and improve website performance.
  • From Your Devices or Browser – Through technologies like cookies, pixels, or similar tools that capture device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data for analytics, personalization, and security purposes.
  • From Service Providers and Business Partners – Including logistics partners, payment processors, marketing or analytics vendors, and customer support tools that provide us with transaction data or performance metrics related to your interactions with Shohaus.
  • From Designers, Trade Professionals, or Representatives – If you are part of a trade program or purchase through a design professional, we may receive information such as your contact details or project specifications from your representative.
  • From Social Media and Advertising Platforms – If you engage with Shohaus content or ads on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, or TikTok, we may receive limited information about your engagement and preferences, in compliance with each platform’s privacy settings.
  • From Publicly Available or Third-Party Sources – Such as design directories, trade shows, or professional listings, to maintain accurate business contact information and verify trade accounts.
Categories of Recipients
We disclose personal information only as necessary for legitimate business operations and in accordance with the purposes described in this Notice. The categories of recipients include:
  • Service Providers – Companies that perform functions on our behalf under written contracts restricting data use, such as payment processors, shipping and freight partners, IT hosting and cloud storage providers, CRM and customer service tools, and email or SMS communication platforms.
  • Contractors and Vendors – Independent businesses or freelancers supporting Shohaus operations, such as marketing consultants, designers, or software developers, who are bound by confidentiality and data-use limitations.
  • Analytics and Advertising Partners – Vendors that help us understand website usage, measure campaign performance, or provide cross-context behavioral advertising. This may include platforms like Google Analytics, Meta Ads, or other advertising networks. You may opt out of such sharing as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Business Partners and Affiliates – Limited information may be shared with affiliated entities or strategic partners involved in trade programs, co-branded collaborations, or production coordination, solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order or maintaining our relationship.
  • Professional Advisors – Accountants, auditors, attorneys, or other professional service providers who require limited access to personal information in the course of providing their services to Shohaus.
  • Regulatory or Legal Authorities – When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, property, or the rights of others.
  • Successors or Transferees – In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, consistent with this Notice and applicable law.
Disclosure of Personal Information to Service Providers and Contractors
We disclose personal information to trusted service providers and contractors that assist us in operating our business, including payment processors, shipping and logistics providers, IT and hosting vendors, marketing and analytics providers, and professional advisers (such as accountants or attorneys). These parties are bound by contractual obligations to use personal information only for the services they perform on our behalf.
Sensitive Personal Information
Shohaus does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information as defined under the CCPA (e.g., government ID numbers, precise geolocation, racial/ethnic data, biometric data). If such information is ever collected (for example, if voluntarily provided in communications), it will be processed only as reasonably necessary to fulfill your request or comply with legal obligations.
