Shohaus respects your privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell personal information for money. We may “share” personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. Under California law, you have the right to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information at any time.
How to Opt Out
Provide your name and email below so we can apply your choice to your account and email-addressed records. The information you provide will be used only to verify, process, and document your request as required by the CCPA/CPRA.
What Changes After You Opt Out
We will stop sharing your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You may still see ads, but they should be contextual (based on the page you’re viewing) rather than based on your activity across different sites/apps.
Some site features that rely on advertising/analytics cookies may function with limited capability.
Authorized Agents
You may authorize an agent to submit an opt-out on your behalf. We will require:
A signed permission from you authorizing the agent to act for you, and
Verification of your identity (or the agent’s proof of power of attorney). Authorized agents can email hello@shohaus.com with the required documentation.
We will maintain records of your request for at least 24 months, as required by the CCPA/CPRA.
Timing and Verification
We process opt-out requests as soon as feasible and no later than 30 business days from receipt.
For your protection, we may take steps to verify your identity to a reasonable degree (e.g., confirming access to the email address submitted).
Minors
We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know are under 16 years of age.
By accessing or using Shohaus' website, services, or other, you agree to be at least 18 years of age.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, such as by denying goods/services, charging different prices, or providing a different level or quality of services.
Other Ways to Control Ads
You can further limit interest-based advertising by using industry tools (your choices there are device/browser-specific and may reset if you clear cookies):
