Shohaus is a custom furniture studio in El Segundo, Los Angeles. We furnish model homes and multifamily amenity spaces for builders and developers, and every piece is made to order. Handmade pieces, designed in Los Angeles.
We furnish model homes for builders and developers. Tables, seating and storage are made to order in the woods, finishes and fabrics you choose.

We also design furniture for lobbies, clubhouses, leasing offices and other amenity spaces in multifamily buildings. We take on multi-unit orders for restaurants, hotels and residential developments, with no minimum quantities.

We supply the furniture part of an FF&E package: tables, seating and storage.
Custom and modified pieces come with shop drawings for your approval before production starts. On multi-unit orders, you can approve a prototype or sample piece before the full run.
Wood comes in walnut, white oak, red oak, ash and teak, in solid wood or veneer, with standard, ceruse and lacquer finishes. You can supply your own fabric or leather (COM/COL) for upholstered pieces. The materials page lists everything we offer.
Your quote gives the schedule for multi-unit orders. Standard orders take 10 to 14 weeks in production. We can schedule deliveries in phases to match your project.
Curbside delivery is free for custom pieces anywhere in the continental U.S. White-glove delivery costs extra. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or outside the U.S. is quoted.
If a piece arrives damaged, photograph it and send the photos to us within 48 hours of delivery. We handle the claim with the carrier and repair or replace the piece.
Builders and developers with a resale certificate or business license can join the Shohaus Trade Program, along with interior designers and architects. Members earn up to 30% commission on catalog and custom orders. With a valid resale certificate on file, orders for resale are processed without sales tax.

Orders of $20,000 or less are paid in full at checkout. Larger orders need a 50% non-refundable deposit, and the balance is due before shipping or pickup.
