Wood Finishes

Cerused Oak Finish

Ceruse is one of our three wood finishes, with the standard finish range and lacquer. It comes in four colors.

How It Is Done

The wood is brushed first. Then its open pores are filled with a light-toned pigment, which brings out the texture of the grain while the surface stays smooth. The finish adds contrast and depth, and the wood keeps its own tone.

Colors

Blonde Cerused Oak, Blackened Cerused Oak, Espresso Cerused Oak and Drift Cerused Oak.

Color Match

If none of the four colors fits, color match is available. We can match a reference sample, a paint color or an existing piece.

On the Coto Sofa

The Coto Sofa lists ceruse among its finish options.

Woods

We offer walnut, white oak, red oak, ash and teak, in solid wood and veneer.
